Lake Yamanaka (山中湖), Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

The Yamanaka Lake is one of the five lakes at the bottom of the giant Mount Fuji, of which you can see the first slopes in the background. It is know that as the clouds get stopped by the old volcano, clouds stay stuck here and create a microclimate, making it one of the most cloudy and rainy area in Japan. As you can see, it was also the case when this picture was taken.
