みなとみらい (Minatomirai), Yokohama, Japan
Minatomirai is the business center and the most famous place of Yokohama, the second city of Japan by population with almost 4 millions of inhabitants, far behind Tokyo but before Osaka. Minato (港) means port and mirai (未来) means future, but the Kanji are not used, probably for esthetic reasons. The highest skyscraper on the left handside, Minato Mirai 21 Tower, was the highest building of the country until Tokyo Sky tree was built up, four years ago.
