西多摩霊園 (Western Tama Cimetery), Akiruno, Japan

The way people take care of their deceased tell a lot about their culture. I remember that Romanian cimeteries always surrounded a church or a small place of worship, and that grass and flowers are not prevented from growing up around the graves. In Japan, cimeteries really are part of an architectural art. The one of Western Tama is incredibly big, and several bus stops are necessary for the walker to find its route. Cimetery is also a well-known place by cyclists, as every one necessarily displays a tap water spot.
