入山峠 (Iriyama Pass), Tokyo, Japan
This place is my favourite spot on the Tokyo ridges. Just 20km far from my home, in the agitation of the Tokyo Metropolis, it is nevertheless forbidden to cars, because concrete cones forbid the access at the south bottom of it. It makes of it kind of a cycling paradise, with a 4km ascent both sides, and a 2km long plateau up to the summit, displaying a full view upon Tokyo, after a short but dark tunnel.
